Historically, and even today, when the term "critical" is mentioned, most project managers tend to think of the "critical path" and its academic definition: the longest path through the network that determines the shortest time in which the project can be completed. In this session, we will challenge the significance of critical path from a schedule perspective and the emphasis it places on the project finish date.
